This is our ship, the Galaxy through Celebrity Cruise lines. We boarded in Puerto Rico and spent 10 fabulous days on the open seas visiting 8 different islands. It was a dream vacation for both of us and definately planted the travel bug.
On St. Martin we crewed a real America's Cup sail boat, and beat the other boats in a 5 leg race. Greg was in heaven as he trimmed the sails and worked with the professional crew members. I was in the front of the boat getting a steady salt water shower from our leaning boat's spray. Who knew those boats went that fast!
Forgive the lovely hair nets but this excursion was my choice. We
went zip lining through a jungle in St. Lucia. Which, I think both Greg and I agree, is one of the most beautiful islands we saw. The people were gracious and we hope to go back someday.
Just one of many GREAT beaches we found on Barbados, Grenada and Aruba. We did some snorkling on a few of the islands, the water was great but watch out for those crazy Dutch and French islands were toplessness is common. Why is it those whose who shouldn't go topless do?
We were lucky to have a great dining group at our table and met some great people. Here's a big hello to Terry, Charlie, Dave, John, Laurie and Stephanie!

We stopped in Curacao and were surprised to see such a beautifully colorful city. Here we also swam with dolphins at the Dolphin Academy and we highly recommend it. This was definately a once in a lifetime experience. I think one of the younger dolphins, Annie, actually had a thing for Greg. She would not leave his side.
On our return trip we stopped overnight in Puerto Rico. We both agreed it would be a fun place to go back to. We hiked in the El Yunque rainforest on a short tour and decided we'd love to return and be dropped off at the very top and spend a day wandering down through it. The island is so big we really missed seeing a lot before catching our flight out but look forward to retuning.
